Dream On Me Cradle Recall Lawyers

A manufacturer has recently recalled a children's product, in conjunction and cooperation with the United States Consumer Products Safety Commission ("CPSC"), due to associated fall and suffocation hazards.

The Dream On Me, 2-in-1 Bassinet to Cradle was recalled on February 19, 2015 by Dream on Me upon receiving reports from the field describing an incident wherein the wire, frame support brackets related to the product failed, thereby allowing the fabric portion of the bassinet / cradle to collapse and fold while a child was sleeping inside the cradle at the time.

Product Hazards and Defects:

The product defect associated with these, particular recalled units involves its wired supports on either side of the bassinets which can disconnect and thereby cause the sides (consisting of fabric) to lower. This poses an obvious and unacceptable risk of a child potentially falling from the unit or otherwise becoming trapped within it and suffocating.
